BROUSSARD, LA (October 9, 2024) – Krewe De Acadian, a non-profit organization, is holding a Free Health Fair at The Broussard Commons Shopping Center Parking Lot, 811 Albertson Parkway, Broussard, Louisiana, on November 9, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Krewe De Acadian saw the need to provide healthcare options to the public while promoting local businesses. Unfortunately, many are unaware of the free, low-cost, and great healthcare options.
We have contacted public and private entities to come together and present their offerings. Several vendors will attend, offering health care and nutritional support services.
The health fair will offer:
- Flu Shots
- Blood Pressure Check
- Vision Screening
- Blood Glucose Testing
- CPR training
- Wellness Checkups
- Stop the Bleeding Training

- Broussard Police Department – car seat safety checks
- Broussard Fire Department
- Albertsons Pharmacy – flu shots
- Acadian Ambulance – CPR demonstrations
- Louisiana ESF-8 Region 4 Healthcare Coalition – Stop the Bleed training

- Fitness and Beyond
