Southside Runners will host Visite de Broussard, a marathon with a mission, on Saturday Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Anthony Rogers and Ryane Broussard, founders of Southside Runners, are leading Visite de Broussard. Rogers and Broussard are driving this event to support local charities. In its inaugural year, the event will support the St. Michael Center for Veterans by Catholic Charities of Acadiana.
“This event will transform Historic Broussard into a space for runners of all skill levels, in support of local charities. More than just a race, it’s a celebration of community spirit, health, and unity. The event is open to seasoned runners as well as those who are new to running.”
