Madison Conrad is Miss Louisiana Collegiate USA 2023
Madi is a graduate of Lafayette parish School System. She will graduate from UL Lafayette with a BA in Liberal Arts, holding a 4.0 in her major, Psychology and minor, Political Science. She plans to stay in the State and start law school after graduation.
Madi has been incredibly active during her time at UL, wearing many hats, including Student Orientation Leader and Leader Team with UL’s Office of Orientation. She has played an active role in her sorority, Tri Sigma, holding many chair positions.
Madi is the chief justice for the UL Student Government Association. She served as a Gamma Chi/Recruitment counselor for the UL Panhellenic Council, a UL Student Ambassador. She is in Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, UL Law Society, UL’s chapter of National Society of Leadership and Success, UL SLIDDE (Student Leaders in Drinking and Drug Education) and placed 1st runner up in the 2022 Miss UL Pageant.
Madi is a talented musician who has performed the National Anthem and God Bless American for the Houston Astros for the last 5 years.
Madi hopes to use her tile as Miss Louisiana Collegiate to inspire young people to follow their dreams and not let anything get in their way, as well as bring awareness to just how much music in early childhood can play a pivotal role in the development and potential of all children. Madi hopes that one day access to music education will be available to all children, regardless of financial burdens.
