The Youngsville Historical Preservation Society (YHPS) is expanding their Pathways Through Generations Brick Campaign, which will start on November 21, 2022. These commemorative engraved bricks will be laid on the grounds of the new Youngsville Municipal Complex at the clock roundabout at Lafayette and Iberia Streets. The bricks will be on the Lafayette Street side of the municipal complex. The original campaign’s bricks have already been installed.
The inscribed bricks will provide a legacy for future generations to view. This expanded campaign will be a little over three-hundred 4″ x 8″ bricks. The cost per brick is $100. The bricks will be installed once all available bricks are sold.
Acknowledgment cards for gift giving will be provided for each brick purchase that can be used to gift wrap.
Online ordering of the bricks will be available November 21, 2022.

In other news
YHPS is planning for an upcoming museum in Youngsville. The board members are planning on touring museums in Erath, Abbeville and New Iberia on November 18, 2022. The purpose of the tour is for ideas for the Youngsville museum.
YHPS will be working with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to help with the museum. Anyone interested in helping with the museum project is asked to contact Glenda Bryan at (337) 251-3216.
