The Club does eye exams at daycares and preschools. If eyeglasses are needed for a child, the Club sends a letter to the child’s parents to advise of the child’s need for glasses.

To help people in other countries with needed eyeglasses, the Club collects old eyeglasses to send to their foundation. The foundation in turn ships the glasses to other countries for those in need to use.

If there is someone in need of eyeglasses and cannot afford the glasses, contact Bares at at (337) 739-2812 or email youngsvillelions@yahoo.com for information on how the Club may be able to assist.
