At the Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Broussard City Council meeting, the council has slated the following properties in Broussard, Louisiana, for condemnation.
- Condemnation of 223 St Des Porres – Leonard Lezita Kelly Estate
- Condemnation of 103 Loul Street (purple building facing Main Street) – Estate of Luvenie Lee
- Condemnation of 105 Alley I (yellow building facing Alley I) – David Rabon
The building at 209 Gustave Street, handled by Howard and Agnes Broussard Estate, Abigail Holdings, LLC, was before the council for condemnation; however, a family member requested the council to give her and her family thirty days to allow them time to discuss what they should do with the property.

Adopted Ordinances
Ordinance #23-779: an ordinance amending the 2023/2024 Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures to increase authorized expenditures for the purchase of property on Highway 90 and Bercegeay Road.
Ordinance #23-780: an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance, adding the following maps:
- Map F-8, Portions of Frances Drive, Merlene Drive, Vida Drive and North Girouard Road.
- Map G-8, Portions of Frances Drive, Merlene Drive, Vida Drive and North Girouard Road.
- Map F-9, Portions of Frances Drive and Vida Drive.
