Millicent Norbert, Director of Broussard Tourism is presented a grant check in the amount of $7,500. The check was presented to Norbert last week by President and CEO Ben Berthelot of Lafayette Convention & Visitors Commission.
The grant was from the Lafayette Visitor Enterprise Fund (LVEF) for improvements to the City of Broussard’s historic Valsin Broussard House. The house which was recently purchased by the City of Broussard to serve as a visitor center.
Valsin Broussard was the founder of Broussard.
