Citizens for a New Louisiana’s “Secret Lunch” brings the Mayor-President incumbent and other hopeful candidates together for a forum.
Lafayette, Louisiana August 8, 2023:
While candidates qualify as the next hopeful winner to fill their seat of choice, Citizens for a New Louisiana (CFNL) prepares to host Lafayette’s Mayor-President Forum at their August 18, 2023, “Secret Lunch.”
In addition to other local and statewide candidates scheduled for subsequent lunches, the group is getting set for this anticipated crowd-drawing event. Lafayette’s Mayor-President incumbent Josh Guillory, Monique Blanco Boulet, a local leader and former director of the Acadiana Planning Commission (daughter of the late governor, Kathleen Babineaux Blanco), and Jan Swift, a prominent Lafayette attorney and Discover Lafayette podcast host, will come together for the CFNL “Secret Lunch.”
The event will be held at Bailey’s Seafood & Grill, 5520 Johnston Street in Lafayette, on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 11:30 a.m.
This particular event requires RSVP and pre-payment due to the expected high turnout (attendees can RSVP at newlouisiana.org/events).
As usual, the opening half hour of the luncheon is scheduled to include a meet & greet, allowing members and attendees to ask questions and “feel out” the candidates.
