Citizens for a New Louisiana brings statewide candidates together for a “Secret Lunch.”
Lafayette, Louisiana, July 17th, 2023: Citizens for a New Louisiana welcomes the public to meet statewide Candidates Liz Murrill for Attorney General, Nancy Landry for Secretary of State, and Richard Nelson for Governor. They will speak to and enjoy lunch with the group and offer the opportunity for a Q&A session after the speakers close. The meeting will be held on July 21, 2023, at SOLA in the DoubleTree by Hilton, at 1521 W. Pinhook Rd. The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. with time, not only for a meet and greet but the opportunity to speak with the candidates one-on-one.
The event is open to the public, as all CFNL “Secret” Lunches are, to encourage the involvement of citizens and transparency from elected officials and candidates. Attendees are asked to RSVP on their website, NewLouisiana.org.
Citizens for a New Louisiana, the Government Watchdog and Transparency Group, has offices based in Lafayette and Baton Rouge.
Lunch is $25 per person and is optional but encouraged to thank Double Tree by Hilton for hosting the luncheon.
