I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the new and open Lafayette Parish Council District 3 seat. I am a lifelong conservative who is dedicated to serving the community and ensuring that the basics of government are being met while prioritizing transparency and accountability in our government.
I believe that a strong community is the foundation of a successful government, and as your councilman, I will work tirelessly to foster a sense of unity and belonging among all residents. I am committed to engaging with the community through open dialogue and active listening to understand the issues that matter most to you. I have done this throughout my life in my career, involvement in civic organizations, and service to our state and country.
Additionally, I understand that government should prioritize the basics, such as infrastructure, public safety, and access to essential services. As your councilman, I will prioritize the efficient use of existing tax dollars to ensure that the basics of government are being met effectively and efficiently.
Finally, I believe that transparency and accountability are essential in all aspects of government. I will work to ensure that all decisions made by the council are transparent and easily accessible to the public. Additionally, I will strive to maintain a high level of accountability in all of my actions, always placing the interests of the community first.
