A new AT&T cell tower is currently going up on Albertson’s Parkway in Broussard. It is located on 636 Albertson Parkway, next to LT’s Seafood Restaurant.
The cell tower will be a maximum of one-hundred fifty feet high and will be dressed as a pine tree for the tower to have a more appeasing look.
The new cell tower will provide 5G wireless technology to the area. 5G is the fifth generation in the mobile networks.
Some of the benefits of 5G are more network capacity, reliability, availability, performance, speeds and improved efficiency.
