YOUNGSVILLE, LA — (October 17, 2023) — Today, Nick Niland proudly announces his candidacy for the Youngsville City Council Division D seat. The seat will become vacant since Councilman Ken Stansbury won his bid for the Lafayette Parish Council District 3 seat.
Niland is a dedicated husband, a loving father, and an engaged community leader. A graduate of Leadership Youngsville Class I, Nick’s commitment to his community was recognized when he was voted “Head of the Class” by his peers. He has consistently demonstrated his commitment to Youngsville by actively participating in various local organizations, including serving as the Program Chair and on the Fundraising Committee for the Rotary Club of Youngsville and being a former Board Member of the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce.
Niland’s campaign is built on a solid platform that reflects the pressing needs of the Youngsville community. His four main focus areas include:
