In last night’s Broussard City Council meeting, two properties were on the agenda for condemnation. By unanimous votes, City Council members approved to condemn the structures on both properties. The structures on the two properties are slated for demolishment.

Both properties were said to be vacant and in disrepair. The properties were also reported to have vagrants come and go on the properties and within the structures.

204 South Lee Street, property of Andre and Mary Stutes

The owner is to have the demolition of the structures on this property completed.

308 Avenue C, property of Gery Marcombe

The City is to demolish the structures on this property.
