The Splash Pad at the Youngsville Sports Complex (YSC) is scheduled to open on June 10, 2023. Mayor Ken Ritter advises the city is planning a grand opening for the splash pad at 10:00 a.m. on the opening date.
The splash pad is located within the YSC by the baseball fields. There are restrooms and a pavilion conveniently located near the pad.
The pad consists of three-thousand square feet at $952,700. According to Ritter, the City of Youngsville is paying cash for the project due to the one-cent sales tax dedicated to parks and recreation.
ARAL was the contractor for the splash pad project; Water Odessy and Aquatic Interactive were the designers.
