The City of Broussard has made a waterline connection in front of Stine’s in Broussard, Louisiana, along Ambassador Caffery Parkway. The purpose of the connection is to extend Broussard’s water supply by connecting it to the water line from the City of Lafayette (LUS) South Water Treatment Plant

The city’s Department of Public Works is testing the connection and hopes to have it online by the end of this week or early next week.

The LUS South plant is located at 810 West Broussard Road in Lafayette, Louisiana.
