There were special guests at the Coffee in Broussard this morning at Jet Coffee on St Nazaire Road. Coffee in Broussard is held on the last Friday of each month at different locations as an opportunity for residents to have coffee and conversations with the Mayor, Police Chief, Fire Chief and city staff.

A smiling Ragin Cajun Minnie Mouse was there with her mom to get a treat before school.

Ember, the Broussard Fire Department’s mascot, also was in attendance with his master Fire Fighter Travis Romero, and Romero’s daughters.

Three-year-old Ember attends safety and training classes at schools and daycares. She also goes to all public events, especially events involving children.
