I-49 NB & SB from I-10 Interchange to MM 9, Lafayette Parish, Alternating Lane Closures for Sweeping Operation

I-49 Northbound & Southbound from the I-10 interchange to mile marker nine at the Lafayette/St. Landry Parish Line will have alternating lane closures for a sweeping operation on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, September 1, 2023, at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

All permit and oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass but may encounter delays.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds motorists to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment
