I’ve learned that the moment I get too comfortable is the moment my growth slows. Comfort tells me to stay where it’s safe, familiar, and predictable. Courage asks me to step forward when I don’t have all the answers.
Every meaningful change in my life required discomfort first. The hard conversations. The early mornings. The risk of failing. Comfort never led me there—courage did.
When I choose comfort, I protect who I am.
When I choose courage, I become who I’m meant to be.
So, I remind myself daily: if something scares me but aligns with my values, it’s probably worth doing. I don’t wait until it feels easy. I move while it feels uncomfortable. That’s where confidence is built. That’s where momentum starts.
Comfort may feel good in the moment, but courage changes everything.
