Each Day is an Opportunity to Get Better

I look at each day as an opportunity to get better. I also know that if I do nothing, I won’t stay the same; rather, I’ll regress.

Getting better requires doing something. Regressing doesn’t require anything. It just happens. It’s a normal process. The dreams we think about and desire won’t pass just through thought. Although thought plays an important part, it is not enough.

Our dreams require action. The size of our actions is up to each of us. What we can do differs from each other. What’s imperative is that we do something each day to create the habit of learning and applying. It’s not a fast process, so plenty of patience is required. Focusing on what is before us and not around us is also imperative. Results vary amongst others. So, don’t fall into the comparison trap.

We have to protect our desires, dreams, and efforts. Remind ourselves that what we can do is enough. The size of the step that we take doesn’t matter; it’s the courage to take the step that matters. Let’s continue to take those steps together.
