Noel a Broussard

Noël à Broussard will be held in Broussard, Louisiana, on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 2 to 7 p.m. Admission is free. The Broussard Chamber of Commerce has this event.

Parade

The 2024 Broussard Christmas Parade will begin at 3 p.m. at the corner of Morgan Avenue and Albertson Parkway, head up Morgan Street, take a right onto Main Street, and end at Arceneaux Park.

After the Parade

In front of Broussard City Hall, there will be Reindeer Games, Face Painting and balloon artistry, a Papa Noel’s Market, Christmas Carolers, and The Annual Lighting of the City Christmas Tree.  City Hall is located at 310 South Main Street.

  • Vendor Market/Reindeer Games opens at 2 p.m.
    • The Vendor Market will be in the parking lot on Main Street and East Railroad Street.
    • Reindeer Games will be in the City Hall parking lot.
  • Photos with Santa on the City Hall Porch: After the parade until 5:30 p.m.
  • Caroling begins on the City Hall Porch at 5:45 p.m.
  • Lighting of the tree begins at City Hall at 6:30 p.m.

Road Closures

Road closures for the parade start at 2 p.m.

  • Morgan Street will be closed from 2 to 4 p.m. from Albertson Parkway to Main Street.
  • Main Street, from St. Cecilia School to Arceneaux Park, will be closed from 2 to 4 p.m. and from South Washington to Lafayette Street from 2 to 7 p.m.
  • Railroad Street will be closed at South Washington and South Morgan from 2 to 7 p.m.; however, those needing access for business will be allowed entry.
  • Polk Street from Main St. to E. Madison will be closed from 2 to 7 p.m.
