For those who may be interested in voting early for the 2023 Gubernatorial/Municipal Primary Election or General Election:
“The registrars of voters will open their offices from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for each day of early voting. When you go to cast your vote early, you will be asked to identify yourself with either a photo ID or signature on a voter affidavit. You may use a Louisiana driver’s license, a Louisiana special identification card, a United States military identification card that contains your name and picture, or other generally recognized picture identification card that has your name and signature.” – from the Louisiana Secretary of State
October 14, 2023 Gubernatorial/Municipal Primary Election
Early voting is September 30 through October 7, 2023 (excluding Sunday, October 1) from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
November 18, 2023 Gubernatorial/Municipal General Election
Early voting is November 3 through November 11, 2023 (excluding Sunday, November 5 and Friday, November 10 for Veterans Day) from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
