The Broussard Planning and Zoning Commission met on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Charles Sharma, a chairman for the committee provided the following information regarding the meeting:
- Guidry Land Development has proposed a new development with the old Mayflower building located at St. De Porres and Albertsons Pkwy.
- Tri-com Real Estate & Investment, Inc. will be adding a new cell tower located next to L.T.’s Seafood. The tower will extend AT&T cell coverage for a much needed area and the tower will be cleverly disguised as a pine tree.
- Champion X LLC/ Hammerhead Capital received a zoning variance to take a current property located off Moulin Rd and change it from Industrial to residential. They will be building a new subdivision.
