Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter has advised through his Facebook page that Kevin “Wade” Trahan has been named City Attorney for the City of Youngsville. Mr. Trahan has served as an Assistant City Attorney for 4 years and has years of government law experience including serving as defense counsel for the Vermilion Parish Sheriff Department, Vermilion Police Jury, City of Abbeville, Lafayette Consolidated Government, Lafayette Police Department, and others. He’s a Youngsville resident and an enthusiastic team player. Ritter states he is excited to have Trahan in this new role.
