Peyton Woodring, Senior at Ascension Episcopal School in Youngsville, broke the twenty year Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) field goal record of fifty-nine yards. The record was broken with Woodring’s kick of sixty yards when Ascension played Franklin Senior High School on November 4, 2022.

EPSN Recruiting selected Woodring for the 2023 Under Armour Next All-America Game. Across the country only one hundred players are selected for it.

According to the Kohl’s Professional Camps’ website “Woodring is one of the best prospects in the 2023 class”.*
