Update from Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter:
Due to a broken water line on Hundred Oaks Drive the City of Youngsville LUS wholesale water system experienced a temporary decrease in pressure. Therefore a precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for the following neighborhoods/streets:
Highland Plantation Phase 1-2
Fortune Hills
Hundred Oaks
LaVilla Circle
Angus
Holstein
Guernsey
Jersey
Atlas
Rousseau
Southfork
1000-1200 Fortune Road
It is recommended that you boil water for one minute for any water consumed.
The boil advisory is effective immediately and is to remain in effect until rescinded by the water system.
