Fremin Road from the western junction with LA 88 (Coteau Road) to 0.25 miles east of Snapper Road in Iberia Parish, will be closed beginning Monday, April 10 at 7:00 a.m. until Thursday, August 31 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for the construction of the realignment of LA 88 and a portion of Fremin Road to the new location of LA 88 (Coteau Road).
The detour consists of LA 88 and Fremin Road’s east junction of LA 88, 0.23 miles east of Cromwell Drive.
LA 88 will remain open to through traffic.
Emergency vehicles will not have access through the entire area.
