LAFAYETTE, LA – Lafayette Police responded to an early morning shooting just after 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
The shooting occurred in the 200 block of Madeline Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene, a male was found in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds. The male was transported to a local hospital and listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
