LAFAYETTE, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government has announced The Diocese of Lafayette Bishop Douglas Deshotel, Temple Shalom Religious Vice President Joe Katz, and Islamic Center of Lafayette Imam Mohammad El-Saleh will lead the community in prayer for peace in the Middle East.
The event is Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 11 a.m. to noon and is open to the public. The prayer service will be at the Lafayette City-Parish Hall Atrium, 705 West University Avenue in Lafayette, Louisiana.
