BROUSSSARD, La. (Jan. 4, 2024) – Highway LA 182 (East Main Street) from St. Etienne Road to LA 96 (Terrace Highway) in Broussard, Louisiana, will have nightly road closures beginning Tuesday, January 9, until Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
These closures are necessary to hang and set precast concrete girders on the new Southbound Frontage Road bridge above LA 182.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
A detour route will NOT be posted; however, traffic may utilize US 90 to LA 92-1 (Smede Highway) to access LA 182.
