As long as we have emotions and feelings, life will be a fight. Every day, every moment, we have an option to fight for something different.

I had several fights to fight just this morning. I had to fight to get out of bed. I had to fight with my snooze button. I had to fight to finish my run. I had to fight through my HIIT workout. I had to fight against my “don’t want” feelings.

My excuses are lies.

I realized a while ago that nobody was coming to save me. That God has blessed me with everything I need to improve myself. I had to discipline my mind, free my mind, and do what I know I need to do no matter what. I stopped looking to others to push me and realized it starts with me.

Don’t stop fighting no matter what. It’s ok to take a short break, but don’t exit the fight. Stay in the fight.
