Eight years ago, Jeremy Hidalgo made a promise to District 9 residents – to construct a cutting-edge high school to cater to the growing population. Today, he stands by his commitment as he declares the fruition of a significant project.
In collaboration with dedicated school board members, administration, and staff, Jeremy Hidalgo is thrilled to reveal the allocation of $3.3 million for Phase One (1) of the Southside High School Stadium project. This inaugural phase includes a state-of-the-art turf field illuminated by stadium lights, setting the stage for a transformative recreational hub.
