An announcement was made this morning, March 1, 2024, by Krewe de Acadian of Broussard and Krewe La Vie Doux of Youngsville that the two Krewes are coming together to host an Inaugural Hamburger Cook-Off. The announcement was made at The Best Stop Cajun Market – Broussard.
The cook-off is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Stine Home and Yard, located at 501 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Broussard, Louisiana. The event will feature live music, fun jumps, face painting, and a petting zoo for all attendees to enjoy.
The net proceeds from the cook-off will be donated to the Broussard and Youngsville Fire Departments.
The Best Stop is the first official sponsor of the cook-off, per Ben Latiolais of Krewe de Acadian.

About the Krewes
Krewe de Acadian started in 2023 with the goal of building community events in a fun and inclusive social atmosphere. The club is dedicated to enhancing its community, steadfastly focusing on fostering a prosperous Broussard for future generations.
Krewe La Vie Doux, started in 2019, exists entirely to cultivate its local community and economy through small business support as well as community outreach.
