The Kiwanis Club of Broussard-Youngsville in Louisiana is collecting stuffed animals to donate to pediatric patients in the burn unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The drive will continue until April 8, 2024.

These teddy bears are used to comfort young patients in the burn unit. They are dressed in bandages and given the same treatments as the children.

Teddy bears must be new and have a size between 12 to 18 inches.

Drop-off locations are listed below:

  • Home Bank – both locations in Broussard
  • The First National Bank of Jeanerette – Camilla Boulevard, Lafayette
