The Youngsville City Council appointed Jacob Held to the Youngsville Municipal Police Civil Service Board, where he is to represent the Governing Authority. The seat is a three-year term. The Council appointed Held at its March 13, 2024 council meeting.
Held is filling the unfulfilled seat held by Dawn Fournier.
Other applicants were Chad Pellerin and Alphaeus Rangai.
