Lafayette PARC Coaches Awards Night Celebrates Volunteer Excellence in Youth Sports

LAFAYETTE, LA (Mar. 20, 2024) – Lafayette Parks, Arts, Recreation, & Culture (PARC) will host its annual PARC Coaches Awards Night on Thursday, March 21, 2024. This special event aims to honor the dedicated coaches of all teams in the PARC football, flag football, and basketball programs who generously volunteered their time and expertise during the fall and winter seasons.

The Coaches Awards Night, hosted at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center, 309 Cora St. in Lafayette, will be an evening filled with appreciation and recognition for the invaluable contributions made by coaches in nurturing the athletic development and personal growth of more than 1,000 youth participants. The festivities will begin at 7:00 p.m., and food will be served.

Adding to the excitement of the occasion, News 15 reporter Will Herren and former NFL player Shannon Clavelle will serve as guest speakers. They bring a wealth of experience and inspiration to share with attendees.
