LAFAYETTE, LA (Mar. 22, 2024 – News 15 has been honored by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters for having the Best Newscast in the state of Louisiana.
The award was presented Friday at the annual awards gathering for the organization in Baton Rouge. News 15 topped its competitors not only in Lafayette, but in larger markets including New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Shreveport, to take home the top honor for news excellence from LAB.
“To be recognized by your peers as the state of Louisiana’s premiere television news outlet is an incredible honor,” said Jim Parker, Executive Director of News & Public Affairs for KADN FOX 15 and KLAF-NBC. “It speaks to the commitment of News 15’s highly experienced team to tell the stories that matter most to the Acadiana community and keep them informed every day.”
