LAFAYETTE, LA (Jun. 8, 2024, 12:13 p.m.) – Regarding yesterday’s shooting incident in the 400 block of Daffodil Loop, both victims are listed in stable condition. The shooting occurred when a car passed by a residence where the victims were and began shooting in their direction. This investigation is ongoing, and an update will be disseminated once additional information is obtained.

LAFAYETTE, LA (Jun. 7, 2024) – On June 7, 2024, at 5:36 p.m., The Lafayette Police Department (LPD) responded to the 400 block of Daffodil Loop about a shooting incident. Upon arrival, LPD Officers located two male victims on the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims have been transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A crime scene was established, and LPD investigators were called to the crime scene.
