BROUSSARD, LA (June 19, 2024) – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that La. 182 (East Main Street), from St. Etienne Road to LA 96 (Terrace Highway), will be closed on Saturday, June 22, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to perform overhead work on the new frontage road bridge above La. 182.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
A detour route will NOT be posted. However, traffic may utilize U.S. 90 to La. 92-1 (Smede Highway) to access La. 182.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
