DOTD Announces Upcoming Flashing Yellow Arrow Project at Various Intersections in Lafayette Parish

LAFAYETTE, LA (June 21, 2024) – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) announces that work is starting on a $1,183,554.08 project to install Flashing Yellow Arrow Signal Improvements at various intersections in Lafayette Parish. These intersections include:

  • W Congress St and LA 93 (Rue De Belier) (Full signal replacement)
  • Ambassador Caffery Pkwy and Curran Ln
  • Ambassador Caffery Pkwy and Dulles Dr
  • Ambassador Caffery Pkwy and Eraste Landry Rd
  • Ambassador Caffery Pkwy and Guilbeau Rd
  • Ambassador Caffery Pkwy and Westmark Blvd
  • Cajundome Blvd and Eraste Landry Rd
  • Cajundome Blvd and Reinhardt Dr
  • Cajundome Blvd and W Congress St
  • Camellia Blvd and Academy Rd/Mt Vernon Dr
  • Camellia Blvd and Cambridge Dr
  • Camellia Blvd and Settlers Trace Blvd
  • Camellia Blvd and Silverstone Rd
  • Kaliste Saloom Rd and Camelia Blvd
  • Kaliste Saloom and E Bayou Pkwy
  • Kaliste Saloom Rd and E Martial Ave
  • Kaliste Saloom Rd and Hugh Wallis Rd
  • Kaliste Saloom Rd and N Beadle Rd
  • Kaliste Saloom Rd and River Ranch Blvd/Long Plantation Rd
  • Kaliste Saloom Rd and Rue Louis XIV
  • Kaliste Saloom Rd and S College Rd
  • W Congress St and Ambassador Caffery Pkwy
  • W Congress St and Foreman Dr
  • W Congress St and Guilbeau Rd
  • W Congress St and Lafayette St
  • W Congress St and N Domingue Ave
  • W Congress St and St John St
  • W Congress St and W Saint Mary Blvd

Most work is expected to take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. with some work during night and weekends, weather permitting.

Intermittent alternating lane closures will be necessary to perform the work in each area; therefore, drivers should expect some delays.

The project is estimated for completion in November 2024.
