LAFAYETTE, LA (June 26, 2024) – The South East Evangeline Thruway Southbound lanes at Sixth Street have been reopened to all vehicle traffic.
ORIGINAL
LAFAYETTE, LA (June 25, 2024) – The Southbound lanes of the SE Evangeline Thruway near Sixth Street are closed to vehicle traffic due to an electrical pole being down in the roadway. A vehicle struck the pole causing the damage. No reported injuries from the single-vehicle crash occurred just after 6:00 p.m. The roadway is expected to close for several hours while workers remove the pole.
Updates will be provided with the roadway reopens.
