MADISONVILLE, LA – WASHINGTON (July 16, 2024) – Senator John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, and Senator Bill Cassidy (R-La.) today announced $6,748,398 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grants for Louisiana disaster aid.

  • $2,158,047 to the St. Tammany Parish for permanent restoration of the fishing pier facility as a result of Hurricane Ida.
  • $1,941,583 to the West Feliciana Parish for replacement of the Plettenburg Road Bridge as a result of Severe Storms and Flooding.
