Elroy Broussard Hosts Neighborhood Town Hall Meeting on Himbola Manor Apartments

LAFAYETTE, LA (July 17, 2024) – District 1 Lafayette City Councilman Elroy Broussard is hosting a neighborhood town hall meeting to discuss the ongoing nuisances and adverse living conditions at Himbola Manor Apartments.

Councilman Broussard will convene various officials from departments of Lafayette Consolidated Government to discuss past and current efforts for remedying environmental and development code violations, as well as to provide updates and gather feedback on ways to bolster law enforcement efforts within and around the property and to chart a path forward for creating a better quality of life for the residents.

This meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024, in the gymnasium of the Martin Luther King Recreation Center at 309 Cora Street in Lafayette. As always, Councilman Broussard strongly encourages citizen participation, so this meeting is open to the public.
