If you want to be the best at anything you do, you’ll have to toss out the idea of being balanced.

To bring the best out of yourself will require more of yourself. That more will come from other areas of your life, from some relationships you have, and from your finances. Every day you give more, you’re defining your legacy.

The only thing we can control is our effort. We can decide whether to give 50 or 150% in everything we do. Bringing out the best in yourself doesn’t require you to be a certain color or come from a certain walk of life. Being the best requires responsibility, discipline, consistency, and perseverance.

We get to decide how we show up each day and how we want our lives to turn out. Give it 150%. It will be worth it.
