I-10 Narcotics Arrest

LAFAYETTE PARISH (August 9, 2024) – A Texas woman is facing charges in Lafayette Parish due to an investigation by sheriff’s office narcotics agents Friday morning.

Diana Lee, 27, was arrested following a traffic stop in which deputies located nearly 150 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle Lee was traveling in on I-10.  A loaded firearm was also found inside the vehicle.

Lee was transported and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS), Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of CDS, and multiple traffic infractions.
