LAFAYETTE, LA (August 18, 2024) – The Lafayette Police Department is investigating a hit and run around 1:01 a.m. in the 1600 block of Louisiana Avenue involving a bicyclist. Preliminary investigation details indicate that a bicyclist was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
