Girl Scout Troop 239 Learns About City Government

Girl Scout Troop 239 attended the Youngsville City Council meeting tonight as part of earning their civics badge. Mayor Ken Ritter, city council members, and city employees spoke with the girls before the meeting to explain how city government functions. The troop also had the honor of leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of the council meeting.
