LAFAYETTE, LA (September 19, 2024, 12:19 p.m.) – In regards to this morning’s stabbing, that is still currently under investigation. Both victim’s condition remains the same. This incident is the result of a domestic altercation that escalated when the suspect produced a knife and stabbed both victims in the neck area.

LAFAYETTE, LA (September 19, 2024, 4:07 a.m.) – At around 1:48 a.m., the Lafayette Police Department (LPD) responded to a local hospital after receiving a 911 call about two victims suffering from stab wounds. The incident occurred at a residence in the 200 block of Buttercup Drive. Both male victims have been admitted to the hospital; one victim is listed in critical condition, and the second is stable. LPD Investigators were called out, and this stabbing is currently under investigation.
