BROUSSARD, LA (October 3, 2024) – The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 68-year-old Glen D. Logan.

BROUSSARD, LA (October 2, 2024) – On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers with the Broussard Police Department responded to the 900 Block of South Morgan Avenue for a major crash involving one vehicle.
Upon the officers’ arrival, it was found that the driver of a Dodge pickup ran off the roadway for an unknown reason, where he impacted a fence and tree. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The crash investigation is ongoing. Toxicology results are pending as well as the identity of the driver, pending family notification.
