LAFAYETTE, LA (November 22, 2024) – Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department announces the temporary closure of the intersection of Arthur Street at North University Avenue, which is part of the ongoing University Avenue Revitalization project.
The intersection will be closed from Monday, December 2, 2024, through Friday, December 13, 2024, to allow the contractor to install new drainage infrastructure.
Detour Information:
- Detour routes will be clearly marked, directing traffic along N. University Avenue, Edison Street, and Irene Street.
- Local access will be maintained for residents and businesses within the closure zone.
