The 38th Annual FoodNet Food for Families Food Drive is happening this Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the Cajundome and over 20 drop-off locations across Acadiana.
You are invited to grocery shop, and then drive through to make a non-perishable grocery donation on Tuesday. Your donation stays local to help families in our community facing hunger.
“The Food for Families Food Drive is both an opportunity to provide food to those experiencing hunger and a chance to live out the works of mercy in a tangible way. There’s something powerful about parents bringing their children to the grocery store, selecting non-perishable items together, and then driving through to personally drop them off. It’s an act of generosity that not only impacts families in need but also teaches children the value of compassion and service. This annual tradition connects us to our neighbors and reminds us of our shared responsibility to care for one another.”
